Rules

General rules

• Flights must be performed in real time (sim rate x1 only - sim rate above x1 is strictly forbidden).
• Members not communicating intentions on Unicom 122.800, or crashing into other traffic, can be excluded from participation.
• Completed flights must be reported after each leg by using flight report so that to be validated.
• You must disconnect after each completed leg.
• Please pay attention to your flight plans :
• Flight plans with wrong departure/arrival airfields will NOT be accepted.
• Pay attention of your plane's equipments, they must be compatible with your plane (a C172 can't be equipped with RVSM, for example). 
• Each leg has to be flown :
• According to visual flight rules.
• In VMC (Visual Meteorological Conditions).
• You must follow published VFR path : it will be checked !
• Follow the integration procedure of traffic pattern : it will be checked ! 
• Restricted to category A single-engine aircraft piston and helicopters.
• To be connected a minimum of 5 minutes before take off and stay connected a minimum of 5 minutes after landing, for the correct record tracker.
• Every pilot having completed all legs in accordance with the required conditions will be awarded.

Tour ATC 2020-2021 - Specific rules

• Airport choice is yours, only one condition : an ATC School module must be hold on at least departure or arrival airport.
• Only ATC School modules are taken in account for this tour. Official training and exam are excluded. 
• It is not necessary to depart from the same airport than the previous arrival. 
• Limited to 1 leg per day. A flight between 2 modules hold the same day counts for 1 leg. 
• A maximum of 2 legs in a row with the same flight rules (IFR or VFR). For example, you cannot make 3 flights in a row with IFR flight plan.
• To ease leg checking, please report in your pired the flight rules and the ATC School module you attend. 
  
• Flight plan in Y or Z flight rules are admitted. Will be counted only the flight rule during the module you attended. 
• In VFR Flight rules, a minimum of 30 minutes of local flight is necessary
• In IFR Flight rules, a departure or an arrival are enough to validate the leg. 
• All aircraft are permited, included helicopter and ultra light aircraft. Only military flight rules are forbidden. 
• Real weather is mandatory in IFR, optionnal in VFR 
• After accomplishing all legs, pilots will be granted with Pilot Training Assistance award.
